"BOMBS" A Deadtime Story by J Jay Brighton

Scenes from the recent bombings on the streets of America are not easily forgotten. They have a tendency to resurrect emotions that time had mostly glossed over in my memory with contemporary nightmares. Death, destruction and the loss of a loved one at arm's length, are not to be viewed lightly, whether it's a family member, stranger, partner, or victim.  Images of shock, fear and a need for an explanation of why, were evident that day in Boston on the bombing victims faces. They always are.  I saw it on the faces of two young boys who'd just watched their parents blown to kingdom come on a cold winter's day in Jersey. "Why"? they cried.  My partner and I were assigned the case to find out and because I will never forget.

BOMBS, A Deadtime Story- When Death Died Down by J Jay Brighton will be ON SALE at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

A brief description compliments of Amazon Press:

"Six years after the gruesome bombing murders of a couple in a quiet New Jersey community, federal agents are alerted to the killer's return after he employs an identical explosive device on his next lethal target. Armed with only a vague description of the bomber by the two sons who witnessed their parents being consumed in the bomb's ball of fire, ATF Special Agents Temprono and Mack are obsessed with finally bringing the killer to justice. Tormented by the lack of motive for the murders, their investigation leads them to a made mafia enforcer for the Jersey mob operating out of a retirement community in Florida. Soon they discover he's part of an organization using a centuries old belief to justify their modern day crusades. The least likely of motives they'd considered six years ago now comes back to the forefront, exposing a terrifying scenario that faith might have played a role in the murders and be part of the solution to solving the perfect crime."
